This blog site is to raise the awareness of the needs of the people on "mission road" in Malawi, Africa. We are a group of people for whom God has given a heart for Malawi, which is the "Warm Heart of Africa". Our group consists of people from Hosanna Church, Minnesota, Wellington Square United Church, Burlington and others.

Coffee Klatch
Have you been invited to a Coffee Klatch for Malawi?
Thank you for supporting this fundraising project for the people along "Mission Road" in Malawi. Your money will help meet the needs of these gentle and welcoming people who presently have no electricity or running water, subsist on maize and mangoes, and earn less than $1 per day.
The Coffee Klatch committment is important - It will make a difference. A big THANK YOU from the people of Malawi.
Malawi Impact Mission 2007!!!
Plans are underway! The dates are October 30 to November 13, 2007 for the first wave of people and November 6 to November 18 for the second wave. The 2 groups will overlap for a crusade! If you are interested in more information about going DON'T DELAY! Contact Fran Gray c/o Wellington Square United Church at 905 -634-1849. Ask how you can be actively involved, impacting lives without going to Africa!!
If you are attending a klatch and wish to make a further donation or if you simply wish to make a donation to the work on Mission Road in Malawi, please send your cheque to Wellington Square United Church, 2121 Caroline Street, Burlington Ont. L7R 1L7 and mark the Memo Line as Malawi Mission. Tax receipts will be given for donations over $20.00 Thank you!
